An Abstract Mixed Media inspired by a photo taken by a couple that love to search out waterfalls in Arkansas . This is part of a series that I’m doing “ Painting the Ozarks “ . We have a vast amount of nature inspiration in Arkansas , namely the Ozarks , that I will never run out of inspiration. I decided to render this piece as an  abstract , using bold , vivid colors & mark making , such as stencils , hand painted papers , oil sticks & markers to bring some movement & excitement into the layers & shapes . It is painted on a wood panel with a natural frame around it
